Tonawanda Indian Reservation

My friend, Ellen Bachorski, and myself just walked this cemetery on September 23, 1999. I also received in the mail an updated list I requested from the Veterans Administration in Batavia. Their response to my request was very quick. I received the information the same week I called! There were several burials without markers. Some were also in the woods. We recorded as many inscriptions as we could find. I heard of someone else who recorded inscriptions here. I figure, if we compare notes, between the two of us maybe we will get all most all of the burials. This is still an active cemetery, by the way.
